Are You Going To The Doctor Frequently ?
PSA if you’re going to doctors all the time:
If the only way you got attention as a child was to get sick, and you’re not consciously connected to this, don’t expect to heal (or maybe even want to).
You’ll be resistant to it.
Any practitioner with more than 10 years of experience can tell.
Awareness heals, but what’s in the way is the fact that the truth is too painful to see at first.
Ugh.
Taking responsibility.
(Not fault finding here. Not victim blaming.)
Taking responsibility.
Dr. Joe Dispenza looked at research for people who had spontaneous remissions of a multitude of health problems from cancer to PTSD and everything in between.
He found that those who healed had common traits….One of them was that they had to change their IDENTITY from the stories they were telling about their past.
But that’s difficult to do.
It would involve looking at oneself and taking ownership for the stories we have been telling all our lives about ourselves and consciously choosing another.
It involves looking at resentment, guilt, and shame as the underlying poison and knowing that the only time the poison will run out is when you’re dead — or if you’re committed to learning how to move those emotions through your body skillfully, with grace.
Healing is an inside job.
Your doctor can’t rescue you.
Nor can your mother, father, or ex.
When doctors become the surrogate parent we wish we had (called Transference) then healing becomes impossible — as we then unconsciously get sick every time we need love or attention.
Said with love.
