Is This A Coincidence

Diana Holding my son’s hand last night,

while he slowly drifted into a peaceful slumber,
looking into his eyes and seeing a younger version of myself,
I can’t help but think how co-incidental the situation is.

It occurred to me as a bit spooky that I’ve spent the 2 years doing what’s now become almost mainstream these days with the Holistic Psychologist and what many other healing mentors and guides talk about:

I went from never really wanting/expecting to be a dad, to “reparenting” my Inner Child,
to ACTUALLY fathering what appears to be a younger version of myself.
I had never tried or even heard of breathwork or “Inner Child” before, but here I am, summer of 2018 in the basement of a Community Center in Vancouver with 50 other people at the same time, live, coming face to face with the trauma of my birth and feeling like I’m re-living it in a what I saw to be a weird ceremonial meditative group deep breathing session.

After getting out of my head about the strangeness of it all, I found myself connecting with, and talking to the younger version of myself for the very first time….

Feeling his fears and loneliness….
I got to cry some tears, and see him,
feel his experience, and guide him back to safety.

Going from that mind-blowing evening to committing to deepening my practice of Inner Child work and Breathwork (separately)…….

To two years later –
now I’m looking into the eyes of my tiny little doppelganger.

Is that a co-incidence?
Yes or no, whatever the case may be,
parenting this uncanny look-alike of myself Is giving me even more opportunity to “re-parent” myself.
Even though I’m a new parent, parenting HIM through HIS emotions feels quite familiar.

The biggest lesson I’ve been intuitively figuring out as I learn how to be the best father I can be:

PARENT YOUR CHILD IN EVERY SITUATION THE WAY YOU WOULD WANT TO BE PARENTED.

So simple right?
But oh so uncommon,
if you look at how our parents did it.
It’s been working so far, 3 months in (I’ll keep you posted on this lol).
This is the reason most of the people who also learn this say that they have become amazing parents as a result.
If this concept of reparenting your Inner Child seems a bit weird to you, you’re not alone.

As much as I resisted it,
even the concept of it sounded weird to me —
in my 25 years of studying the mind/body connection, even getting into some deep neuroscience —
this has been the MISSING PIECE.

The concept was introduced to me by a Neuroscientist Medical Doctor (of all people), Russell Kennedy.

It was a concept that changed my life, and soon after,
I decided to introduce and integrate breathwork and Inner Child work into my toolbox for my offerings and programs for clients.

I share it because it was what helped relax my mind and body, and helped get me out of my head and into my heart.

And Now, it’s making a ripple effect around the world.

Thanks to Covid, I have created a monthly online zoom community event where I guide 50–100 people around the world (depending on who’s keen to practice with us) into a meditation where many meet their Inner Child for the very first time,
and then consciously connect to their breath,
and move some heavy emotions through their body with some dramatic music to assist on the journey.

The experiences for some people are very difficult to put into words.
I don’t believe it’s a co-incidence that I dedicated myself to this practice 3years ago and my life has completely shifted as a result.
The reason is because these practices help get us out of the noise of the outside world (opinions, fears, voices, beliefs, behaviors of others) and help get connected with our own inner voice.

That “Voice” that always know exactly what to do from here.

We all have it. It just gets silenced through our stresses and conflicts.

ESPECIALLY these days (in case you haven’t noticed)

If you want to relax your nervous system and work towards healing these conflicts before the holiday season so that time with your family (especially children) isn’t so stressful — — on (Saturday April 23rd, 2022 at 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PST) I hosted“Breathwork and Badassery” for this very reason. I do this for my clients — and since Covid I’ve introduced this to the public.

If you’ve heard about Reparenting and Breathwork,
and were curious to try — or deepen in your practice…
The training, the community, and the guidance you’ll receive is just something you need to experience for yourself.

There’s nothing like it.

If you attend and you’re not satisfied, you can send me an email explaining why you weren’t satisfied so we can improve for next time — — and I’ll send you a full refund.
It’s a stressful time of the Year,
in the most stressful year we’ve collectively been through together.
If your “emotional body” hasn’t already taken a beating this year…
Just wait for the holidays.
You’re going to want to have the most effective tools in your toolbox for the next few weeks and beyond.

Whatever you’re challenged by — health, relationships, career, or even self-worth and confidence issues,
this is THE BEST place to begin the journey.
Just because we can’t throw a party right now, doesn’t mean you can’t have a private one with your Inner Child.
You’ll be so glad you did.

And “coincidentally” your children will be too.
