DISCOVERIES FROM SEEING THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS AND CLIENTS OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS

WHAT DO WE REALLY WANT?

This question plagues most people because quite frankly, most of us don’t really know WHAT we want.

We’re so disconnected from ourselves.
So full of resentment and shame.

So when we ask this question the obvious answers show up:
Money.
A new relationship.
A vacation. To “Level Up” at work.
A new job.
A beautiful house.
A Tesla.

Whatever it is, usually it’s an external-based “value”.

The problem with that, I discovered,
is that I would never fully feel “satisfied”
after achieving those things.

In fact, it was the pursuit of those things
that had me feeling even MORE frustrated
because it didn’t fill the emptiness.

I then decided to go on a search and interview
some of the people that I was helping.
These are extremely successful people who “have it all”.

I discovered there are 4 things we all REALLY want
that all the money in the world can’t AUTHENTICALLY buy.

I shared recently it in my Trigger Proof group:

  1. Healed, Healthy RELATIONSHIPS
  2. The CAPACITY to Regulate our own Emotions
  3. PURPOSE: A connection to something greater than us
  4. The MAGIC of TRUE intimacy

Rich or poor — what I discovered
is if you have THESE THINGS….

You have won the true jackpot of life.

Without these things, we don’t have autonomy.
Without these things, we don’t have authority over our lives.
Without these things, we are victims to our past.
Without these things, we show up as needy.
Without these things, we are governed by others.
Without these things, no matter what we achieve,
we still show up as insecure.

Becoming what I call “Trigger Proof” does NOT mean
becoming Trigger LESS.
Far from.

It’s the responsibility of taking our unconscious
reactions and turning them into conscious RESPONSES.

Taking RESPONSE — ABILITY and expanding that space
between stimulus and action.

When you do, relationships heal.
When you do, your body, and your relationship with it, HEALS.
When you do — you’re no longer a slave to your emotions,
When you do — you are no longer run by your past.
When you do — you open up the capacity to create
SECURE AND STABLE ATTACHMENTS with your family,
your partner, and even with your work.
When you do — purpose emerges.

And when you do all of that — your entire expression of
life transforms.
