Understanding the nuance of trauma and it’s insidious nature…

I can’t begin to imagine what is happening in the little nervous systems of these innocent souls caught in the crossfire between other traumatized souls….

And the cycle continues.

“What can I do for these children?”

Is what I found myself asking myself today as I was shocked reading the news, now not really knowing if anything is real or not, questioning the source and wanting to be fact checked.

I was also sad to see how UNSURPRISED I was at the same time.

Our Unresolved trauma infects and impacts others. It’s a ripple effect you are seeing when you look at this picture.

“Make your healing a priority. Govern yourself and the little children inside of you with such love and devotion that the cycle breaks with you creating an opposing ripple of loving understanding.”

that’s how i’m taking the current events — the same way I have been for the pandemic (which we’ve all been distracted by all of a sudden haven’t we).

The game plan strategy to thrive in crisis is the same…

Whether it’s a divorce, pandemic, or a global war or economic challenge, my number -1-to-strategy has been to become the active operator of my nervous system and to teach this community how to do the same so you come out of this thing leaner, meaner (in a good way not a “Karen and Ken” kind of way) and more resilient.

“Resilience” is the go-to word.

Make it a priority.

That’s the best thing we can do for what’s happening in the world.
